Apparently I can migrate to NZ if I get a job offer before I apply for PR, and the agent has advised me to go to NZ to attend interviews once I have set them up. (that will be next year now seeing as I just came back)

I am truly interested as to how to go about getting a job offer without going to NZ to be seen face to face for an Interview in the first place.

I can accept that some occupations can get employment purely by what they currently do i.e nursey, doctor, etc.

But I am what my user name suggests, an Invesigator/Detective so I would be looking for work in the security/investigations arena.
(Ideally Insurance Accident claim/ Benefit Investigations)

I would genuinely like the benefit of advice on this issue.

Can I get a job offer purely on my C.V and without going (back) to NZ ?

My hubby found some companies on line that he was interested in (not in same trade as you!) and emailed his CV with covering letter. He had one call back - was interviewed over the phone and offered job on receipt of satisfactory references.

They've been great - when he had to come back to UK due to house not selling they kept his job open for him, we are heading back in April and he came back here last June!

The other possibility is to ask people who are in the area where you want to be to send you names/addresses etc.
