Four years in
Well today four years ago, we arrived in Auckland, trying not to look to nervous at immigration as we queued for visitors permits. With only about $500 to our name and no real plan, we were rolling the dice with the Gods of WTF!
Now four years later and after many adventures, small triumphs and disappointments, we have come a long way. I am very proud of what we have achieved so far, we live in a beautiful country and make the most of it whenever we can. New Zealand has been a land of opertunity, we have done so many new things. Today I find myself on the cusp of starting a new business. This year we have also completed our happiness with the arrival of our beautiful daughter Sabrina in January.
The highlights have been
Getting a work permit
Getting our first rental (nearly three months living in a student hostel)
Marrying Melissa on a beach in Fiji
Quiting my truly crappy job, as soon as the ink was dry on our PR.
Say good bye to Auckland and moving to the South Island
Getting a job in the wine industry
Buying our house
The arrival of Sabrina
There have been low points as well, but we are always are looking forward and whilst the future is uncertain, we hope it will remain to be bright.
Words of advice........have faith in each other and in what you are doing. You both have to be committed to this and your strength should be in each other.
Good luck to everyone!

I do hope this isn't the actually list in order of priority and is the actual order in which they happened?
I mean marrying Melissa at Number 3 and the arrival of Sabrina down the bottom!
