Finally!
Woohoo!!! After now being here for just over 3 months... Goodness knows how many job applications! Mainly hearing nothing back or just (thankfully good) feedback with a no... 2 recruitment agencies... 2 interviews... I have a job!!!
Feels like the worlds biggest relief and I now can't wait to start on Monday! I can finally get myself into a routine and establish myself into a new career.

Nice one, chuck some of your good luck my way please. I've had no work since last October and believe me it's not for the want of looking.
I haven't had so much as a job interview since January.

Re: Finally!
That sucks! Sending lots of luck!
Felt like I was getting nowhere, then I had a call on Tuesday to say the recruitment were forwarding my CV, call Wednesday morning for an interview that afternoon... So less than 2 hours to prepare when I got the job description But seems it all went well and they had to call to get my work reference that night.
Slightly terrifying to now be starting from scratch again but beyond relieved to now have some job security.

Re: Finally!
It's a receptionist/admin assistant job, so nice and varied job and will get lots of new experience. I did financial administration in a pension department for 6 years before heading here, so it was pretty specific, where as now this job will stand me in better stead for future experience

Nice. I live in Wanganui if you want to meet up some time.
I'm curious, I wonder if I've applied for a similar job as I've applied for loads of admin jobs.
Good luck with it all. I was driving from Wangas to Palmy and back for a few months last year.
