Well the decision has been made, non-refundable costs now being paid. The start of the process (and it seems to get more expensive every time I work it out :scared: ). EOI submitted and paid for online with 115 points and selection day is Thursday. This must be nearly the most nervous I have ever been.

Waiting for your status to to change from selected to successful is major league nerve wracking to say the least!!

We got picked on 100 points in the first draw we were in - if it can happen to us on that basis, it's definitely going to happen to you very soon. I've never drank so much in my life! It's all very stressful, but I'm sure you will be fine.

No I don't mind at all, I'm grateful for all the help everyone has given us so far....and I guess we'll still be asking! We had 125 points and no job offer. OH is in IT and also has an electronics qualification. We are hoping to go to BOP but he has searched job sites and found nothing. Tauranga is supposed (so we have read) to have a lot of IT companies but so far it's AKL and Welly that we are finding the most.

we're looking at Tauranga as we have family there, but being swayed all the time to different areas depending on what comes up each time we do a property search on realenz. I'm an Occupational Therapist so could work pretty much anywhere, right job allowing. My hubby is a mechanic and we have been advised that he should be OK for getting a job most places also.

we visited in 2003, spent a couple of weeks in Tauranga and a week travelling - did Rotorua, Taupo, Wellington, Hawkes Bay (Napier / Gisborne), Whakatane - all really nice areas so quite open minded about where we end up. Also considering christchurch based on feedback from this forum.

What about you - what's your plans and timescales
