Just logged into my EoI out of sheer bordom at home and it has been selected from the pool "for further consideration". I only submitted it 2 days ago too!

Yeah yeah, I know. Don't get my hopes up because it could all go pear shaped still but



First good news I have had for WEEKS!!!!! I'm going to bounce round for days just on that bit of info!

I'm off to spread the (In my opinion) good news! Chow!

Does anybody know how long I am likely to have to wait before I get told to prove what I put on my EoI? I have been told 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 8 weeks.....

What is the usual timescale?

Be prepared for Immigration Finger Syndrome.

Woot woot!!!

I got a phone call from ny Immigration advisor asking me if I had had any changes in status (Medical etc) so sneaky me goes onto the Immigration NZ Website as soon as I am off the phone with her to find that my EoI Decision has been 'Sucessful'. I am being Invited to Apply for Residence (I think!!)

A letter is being sent to me so I guess I have to wait for it before I know anything more but the gears do turn! Wasn't expecting to hear anything till mid January as I have been told NZ is in shutdown till the 5th! lol
