Thought I would add this a a seperate thread so I dont get confused!

My husband is a hydraulic engineer, can anyone tell us roughly what sort of wage an engineer is on over there in NZ.

(Hydraulic engineer = servicing & maintaining lorry loader cranes, tail lifts, multilifts, like Hiabs for example)

Any sort of info would be great

I would look on seek at mechanical fitter jobs. They may not be exactly what your husband does but similar salary I suspect.
