ENGINEERING GEOLOGIST relocating to Christchurch New Zealand
Hello Everyone..i recently got my residency for NZ...I welcome friends to help me in this transition..especially if you have walked thorugh this process before..

Can't help you with any info I'm afraid as I am on the US, but if you take some time to read through the threads in the New Zealand forum you will find loads of tips and experiences that other members have shared.

Hi, my husband is an engineering geologist too and we're heading to christchurch for his new job! Seem to be a few going out at the mo! Got all formal offers in place and just starting visa process. Think we're probably looking at beginning of Dec to go out, but no firm ideas as of yet. How long did your visas take? Good luck with it all, and maybe we'll see you out there - I'm sure my hubbie will want to have a chat!
