Default Emergency Survival Kit

Yes I know we have covered this before but its important so I'll ask again anyway.

We are getting our Emergency Survival Kit ready. We have got most things which are on the list but does anyone have any other good ideas about things you think we'd need in an emergency.

My brain seems to have gone a bit soggy lately so I need some help... any little ideas most welcome. Thanks!!

mmm.....sounds like "make do and mend" or "too stingy to buy a trarp" -- did you know you can buy "fashion" tarps in pinky-red??? and they are cheaper than shower curtains......
me I have bowie knife, AK47 + 1000 rounds + spare mags, face paint, spare grollies, water pistol, plus a bunker in the garden......
no seriously I do have an inverter for use with the car engine for 220V, some batteries and a few spare torches, some bleach powder, iodine, bromine, big first aid kit, not much water, odd bucket, lots of spare paper/card, plenty of knives (really) and some pasta in the cupboard but no other means of cooking it.......
