Just the pig dog.

I hear they are very tasty!

[A cross between a pig and a dog sounds very hotdoggish.]

Ouch! As a banana lover this would be a disaster. Where is this place, so I can avoid it?

I have mixed feelings about Australia's refusal to import certain things produced here: on the one hand I think it is excellent and more sustainable; on the other I cannot believe we grow rice here and I refuse to buy Australian rice.

Quite pleased about my nut allergy when I lived in NZ. Couldn't afford them!

I'm not sure either where this is coming from; since RBNZ has been cutting interest rates to prop up this rock'n'roll economy and try to boost inflation and make us all feel better off by putting more money into our pockets. Inflation is running at something like 0.1% and according to RBNZ ideally should be somewhere between 1 to 3%
In reply to the sky rocketing wages. My facts are i went to Aus 2004 my hourly rate in Christchurch was $21. I returned in 2015 and the best rate i got was $26. Now i am back in W.A. on between Aus $34-47 and not FIFO.

I am wondering if we had a mini-tornado or some other suck blight or pestilence that wiped out the crop of NZ leeks @ $2.99 each for heaven's sake.
