It's a reasonable wage in the UK or Eurozone, it's pretty good for NZ, and we manage. I just think anyone moving here has to be prepared to learn how to budget well, cook more, and realise it's not about the money.
No its not about the money unless you want to buy a house (especially in auckland)or face the wrath of renting where you end up moving house 5 times in under 3 years!
