Work have put a ban on any new holidays being booked for foriegn travel to prevent people from using it as an excuse to get an extra fortnight at home paid for by the govt when they come back

Can you even fly to NZ at the moment?
Almost all routes to NZ go through an intermediate hub which may not allow travellers from e.g. the UK.

I'm not going back to NZ till after Anzac day, I'll self isolate then regardless.
Jetstar still have flights from Sydney, just reduced. I have some flexibility thankfully..
And I'm self isolating at the moment in Oz as my units are online for some of them, not sure what will happen with this blockof work placement but there's flexibility.

We've been told today that we can go ahead with our work experience as long as we self isolate first, which I'm doing anyway. It's in an aged care facility and I will work it out with them. After Easter seems good.

I've made it back to NZ on a very empty flight today. Bought the cabin crew some chocolates and they plied me with champagne (in a glass!!!!) throughout the flight. They even gave me a bottle of champers to take home 😍. So I'm set for self-isolation now.
