There we are- these have overtaken bourbon biscuits in my esteem, although I miss the range and quality of UK bought ones and have been too slack to make any this year and too poor to buy any other than the homebrand basics. However, taste tests this am have revealed that the aformentioned yuletide offering passes muster when warmed, lightly dusted with icing sugar and served with whipped cream. Yummy.

Found myself a Santa at the beach, some chance of that with the weather we're having right now.
I went late night shopping at the mall yesterday, it was so lovely - cold, dark and raining with Christmas music in all the shops, it was the closest I have felt to a proper Christmas for a good few years.
