Cheapish Sky
Hi just been offered My sky basic + sports + movies for $42 a month for 6 months, after that you can go back to basic at $50ish or keep same package for about $90. Pretty good deal I thought and is available for a few more weeks.

I got a similar deal when joining the normal Sky Digital last year. Got basic package plus movies for a really good deal for 3 months, then the price reverted back to the standard fee.
They have also been offering dollar deals too, subscribe to movie channels for $1 for the first month recently. If only they could do it for Sports it would be great

I am still in the hotel for a few more weeks n am dead bored of the basic TV channels... Thanks! I will def get it once I move in my own place!!

This is poor reception in this area, so prior to that we could only get two basic channels , sometimes a third with the use of an indoor aerial, the racing channel and Maori channel which is quite good TBH .
The deal not only gave us my-sky for six months, which was amazing I have to say, but plonked a much needed, wonderful satellite dish on our roof.
Cost us $40 bucks to swap the My-sky box for the basic box once the 6 months was up.

We did this deal about a year ago and then dropped back to the basic package. We have just re-added in the sports channels for husband and his rugby.
This is poor reception in this area, so prior to that we could only get two basic channels , sometimes a third with the use of an indoor aerial, the racing channel and Maori channel which is quite good TBH .

It's made a heck of a lot of difference to husband. He found standing on one leg , half-way up the stairs with the indoor aerial in his hand a bit tiresome at times.
