But back to reality. I still need a job and the house needs selling. No doubt all these things will come to pass,

Now to become a member of the "when am I going to New Zealand club?" or perhaps the "yes, I AM going to New Zealand but I'm not really sure when" club.
Anyother you can recommend?

I can recommend the 'got my visa but still need to sell the house before we can go' club...that one seems to be quite popular at the moment!!!

I'm sure yours will sell in a jiffy Joanna and you'll be there before you know it!!

good luck with the car boot sales - we've made a pigging fortune the last two weekends...

Hi all
quick update on us.... approved in principle, going to send passports off in October, 'car bootin' planned for next couple of weekends, re-decorating like made, getting prices for removals (painful) sorting transport for dog (newfoundland, bloody expensive) had job interview and all sorted, just need to sort school for Megan (13) does anyone have any info on schools in Hawkes Bay, more specifically Hastings, as i will at the hospital there. We have looked at their sites, checked deciles etc, but recommendations may be more valuable.
Good luck to everyone,
Steve

Hi all, back from our hols, checked immigration and no change.
At least there's lots of reading to catch up on.
Hoping to get the house on the market in a couple of weeks.
That's all for now.
