Living in Auckland and just bought our 1st motor. Any recommendations for where to source insurance?

The AA then you can get your contents insurance as well

Yeah, AA here too. There doesn't seem to be the vast array of insurance companies here in NZ. Oh, that's right, it's not against the law not to have car insurance here.

just went for a Hyundi i30 - seems pretty economical and will do not now.

Yeah, I've been with AA a good while, though heard good reports of new entrants Youi offering good deals. I've certainly saved fair bit on home insurance with them recently.

AA are excellent. My car went up in smoke whilst in a local garage on a Friday. Full payout was transferred to my account by the following Friday.

The AA didn't know what my car was last time I called them, and it's still not listed on their quotes website.
I have been with AMI for years now. Should probably shop around again. But they did give the wife a 12 month no claim discount after 9 months and prices are reasonable. And they haven't yet told me off or increased cost for modifying my car.

I'll recommend Tower here. I've got everything with them
My last renewal with the AA (I was with them for 2 years) was the most expensive it's been at $582.69. Tower offered me $327.53 - no brainer
Not had any problems with them, although the downloaded app has been an interesting use. But I won't go into too much detail to avoid a rant on the driving standards here
