Building a house the New Zealand way

Could any one point me in the right direction or have any advice as to how you go about getting a house built in New Zealand, regulations, building plans, cost. I was looking to use SIPs. Many thanks regards Paul :)

Try this for starters.

NZ Building Code.

Then you would need to look to your local NZ council for what is required by way of building consent.
