Default Bringing car over

Not long now, booking flights next week to christchurch for about the middle of October, find short term furnished accommodation, household stuff and car going in storage for a few months while finding more permanent place to rent. Just concerned about my car, it's a 19 year old mx5 eunos, I have got residence exemption on it as I have owned it more than 12 months, but have read some horror stories on the forum about clearance at NZ end, any advice would be appreciated.

Default Re: Bringing car over

we contact The AA direct over here and gave them serial numbers off the car and engine and they let us know what the likely hood would be. as ours was a 2005 model we had no problems getting it in but the inspection at the MAF registered garage was dreadful, pulling trims off, pulling off the backs of the seats, basically ripped it apart - seriously was not happy with the condition they gave it back in.

send them an email - we found them extremely helpful
