Blackpool v Cardiff Premier league play-off...
is live on Sky Sport Sunday Morning 1.55am
Amazing to see that Blackpool could possibly be a Premier League team - I'm sure that would be a favourite for some fans for a weekender.
By the same token the welsh would relish an entry into the EPL too...
.....even if it will be for one season only

Blackpool in the premiership is very surreal after watching them for the last 40 years in the lower divisions they have a chance of the premiership just when we are emigrating to NZ (hopefully October depending if I get my VR from work).
Not sure about TV in NZ but Dave Helen Emily (9) & Ciaran (6) will be spending Saturday afternoon in the sun at Wembley wearing Tangerine.
I'll be watching them on TV in the premiership next season in NZ ?
Any other Blackpool fans out there ?
Heading to Auckland or Wellington.

As a lifelong Mansfield Town fan - seriously - in the not too distant past, we were playing Wigan, Fulham, Hull, Blackpool, etc etc week in week out - nowadays I look forward to results coming in from the mighty Histon, Barrow and Gateshead - enjoy the good times, (i'd love to see Blackpool in the premier league) whilst you've got 'em... I have vague memories of Blackpool being a top flight club when I was a nipper

Either will find it difficult, it's all about money in the premier league. For most it's surviving, for others finishing in the top 4 for Euro League's the aim. Both of which devalue the FA Cup, though still it's usually one of the top 4 that monopolise it anyway despite their weakened teams.
Sadly the day are gone when teams like Forest, Derby & Villa could win the league, and teams like Watford, Ipswich, QPR and like finish 2nd.
Indeed the premier league is getting as predictable as the Scottish League, with omly 2 teams having a realistic possibility of winning it.

I'm sure if they win, Blackpool will manage 3 seasons in the premier league.....autumn, winter and spring.
