Battlefield Band in Whangarei
Hi guys
As I've said before, I work at the Museum in Waipu, and we arrange lots of events.
We have a concert coming up - on Sunday 10th June at 2pm - at the Forum North Exhbition centre in Whangarei by 'The Battlefield Band', one of the biggest Celtic/Scottish bands in the world (see more at www.battlefieldband.co.uk).
I just thought that if anyone were going to be around the Whangarei area at that time and has an interest in Celtic music or the Scottish 'scene' they might like to go! The museum managed to bring them over - and they've now racked up gigs in Wellington, Hamilton and Dunedin too - so you could also catch them there.
