Which are the best and worst ?...
Also, what's the average size mortgage and repayments monthly ?

The consumer.org is a good start :

for banking, credit cards etc http://www.consumer.org.nz/category.asp?category=Money

They also have a good section on electricity charges, should you need it in the future.

The big four banks are
Westpac
ANZ
National Bank
ASB

Overall I dont think there is much difference between the main banks...

Dont know what the average mortage is, house prices vary according to which city you live. Interest rates and home loan calculators are on most of the banks' websites.
