auckland quake
so its been on the news update as the worst quake in auckland for 10 yrs , so who felt it. (there was one in weely too today 4.4 or something , geonet server screwed at mo!!)

Yes - I felt it! I was in my flat on the 26th floor in CBD and I could feel it shake (a little bit)! Where did you pick up the news report from?

OMG I was really scared!! Its the first time Ive experienced anything like that! We were in Maraetai at a friends house having a PlayGroup committee meeting. Her house started shaking. I started shaking after as I found it quite scary.
When I got home my OH said he felt it here in our old villa and the house literally swayed from side to side.... as they are meant to do apparently.
I just looked on geonet and Im gonna fill in a report for them that I felt it too.
Hope I dont feel too many of them... I wonder if it will be on the news?

Blimey. Ive just filled in the report for geonet. It was felt all over the place... as far away as Coromandel (Whitianga) and right across Auckland over to Waitakere... furthest away was felt in Karangahake.

We felt the one about 9pm, the couch just started shaking...we live in Massey, west auckland
Am surprised lapsed kiwi didnt feel it as it was off the coast of Orewa
It was kind of scary makes you think all the worst imaginable things...
there were 3 one at 824, one at 9pm and another at 1123
