Smile anyone with young children on Hibiscus Coast?

Hi, i am new to New Zealand - previously from Suffolk UK. Me & my family are living in Gulf Harbour - my oartner is a roofer in the city & is gone for 12 hours a day, gets a bit lonely here so wondered if anyone is around this way? i have 2 kids - 6 months & 3 1/2 .

we don't have kids ourselves but can I suggest you hang around the play areas mid-morning. There's one on GH Drive opposite the College. That's how a friend of my wife made friends with another mum. Good Luck. How long have you been here?

hi, have been here 2 weeks so really not long but bit bored already!! we only have one car at present so i am stuck here at the moment! thanks for yoiur reply, will try that although have been going there the last 2 days and not seen a soul - must be wrong time of day!!

School hols coming up, hopefully it'll fill up then. Don't give up, these things can take some time. Understand your feelings of loneliness etc. Wife's jolly busy with work right now but is due some time off, maybe you could meet up. She's not frightfully exciting though
