We're in Titirangi too, heard a few people call it Britirangi 
We like it here but are planning to move out to Laingholm in a few months. We live round the corner from the intermediate School (Glen Eden) I have heard lots of positive reports about it. Green Bay HS had a bit of a bad rep a while back but apparently the new head is doing wonders, pupil numbers are going up and the school is doing well.
My kids are younger than yours but every other accent I hear at school (parents that is) are UK ones and at our local toddler group at the Memorial Hall I have so far met people from Norwich, Ipswich, Newcastle, Bristol, Southampton and the group isn't that big!
Glen Eden have a good running group from walkers up to serious training and it's held just in Ceramco Park.

My step son has moved over from the UK and has ended up getting a job 10 minutes from where we live now so we won't be moving out West :-(
