Are there any expats living in the BOP/Tauranga region??

Would really like to chat to people already there, and let you all know what your in for when we arrive.....

Yes, you will see them cruising the footpaths with their zimmer frames. It's the wrinklie capital of New Zealand. Winston Peters and florid-faced National MPs are big there. If your age is slightly less than nearly deceased you'll be considered a youngster.

been here for 5 months and lovin it. Got 2 kids , 8 and 12 also lovin it. I don`t know where the OAP thing has come from, we feel as though Tauranga has a really good mix of ages. Our experiences so far have been good ones and don`t look back at all. Feel free to PM and my wife and I will gladly find out anything you need. Don`t worry about meeting other pomme`s, they are everywhere!!
