Hi, guys i have lurking in this forum for a little while but need some questions answering wondered if you can help - do you know if the AAT qualification counts as a listed qualification? or do i need to pay to get it assesed?

Also how risky do you think it would be to line up some interviews over there and try & get job to then apply for my Visa, if my qualification counts for nothing i will not have even 100 points on EOI : ( So cant see another way of getting a visa as we have children.

Oh and sorry for any non-accountants that would like to try & help my AAT is an NVQ 4.

If you get a job offer from an accredited employer the points won't matter so much - we could only make 100 when we put in our EOI but OH had job offer from accredited employer.

Have you looked at the NZ immigration website yet? You might find a lot of the answers to your questions on there.

Hi have AAT and had my qualification assessed just to make sure, it cane back as a diploma.

Also i got a job offer as a Management Accountant with an accredited employer and nether counted towards points, as unlike the UK Management Accountants are at different levels (Well in my experience they are) and NZIS required a CA qualification for me to gain points in that area. I managed to get the points though experience in the end though.
