Left it a little late to join the party, no time to find a good avatar so have reverted to an old one
Was trying to find the photo I have of a turnip lantern I made a few years ago but it's got lost somewhere in my slightly erratic filing system [aka chaos]
Made it to show the southerners at work how we celebrated Halloween up North when I was a wee bairn
ah those old days- walking around with our turnips, so pleased to be allowed to play with fire- followed by endless [ and always fruitless] attempts to set fire to the things by the bonfire on Nov 5th while the adults got drunk. Can't believe no one got hurt...happy days!
