British Expats - All Finished !! Help with Hawkes Bay please

Hi all. Following our telephone interview just over a week ago, we were told last Thursday that we have been accepted, vitually one year to the week, from start to finish.....yeeeaaah. :thumbsup: To further enhance our joys, we have also decided on a place to settle....Hawkes Bay. We have researched everywhere, literally everywhere, but Hawkes Bay seems to tick all. Now, can anyone give me a little insight into where is best to live (with the exception of Havelock Nrt - too expensive) e.g., community, safety, schools, proximity to a beach etc. We will have a budget of around 300k NZ to spend on a house, if this helps.
