Talking Alert: Shrove Tuesday 13th Feb

Just a wee reminder for those who like to keep up the old traditions from home. Time to get your crepe/frying pan and pancake batter recipes at the ready. It's time to practice how good a tosser you are

Just in Sainsbury’s buying my eggs for the pancakes, our youngest son (now 30)
just text to make sure I was making them lol he spent half his life in Australia and heaven help me if I’d even of suggested back then I would not be making them, even his dinky due Aussie friends all use to come around for some pancakes served with lemon and a tiny bit of brown sugar. Enjoy

Well as we are back in the UK now, at least I won't be cooking them in the height of summer anymore. I was very pink by the time I'd finished making them!
I'll get my eggs at the weekend. I chucked my old crepe pan away when we left NZ as it had done great service for many years. Got a new one coming this week which I shall season over the weekend all ready for next Tuesday.
