Default Aerolineas Argentinas?

I'm flying to Sydney for a few days in December for a business trip. Cheapest Air NZ flight is $535 through Flight Centre but Aerolineas Argentinas are $369! I looked up the reviews on the internet and they come out quite badly, especially when there were cancellations due to the Chilean volcano:

Since it's only a 3 hour flight I'm tempted anyway because it is quite a saving. Anyone got any advice or had experience of them?

We fly with them or LAN (booked thru Expedia) because they're significantly cheaper than anything else, it's only a 3hr flight so I don't need much more than a seat, decent baggage allowance and a cup of tea (tick, tick, tick). However they're legs on long haul with those airlines so you get a much better deal (usually a meal and entertainment and full baggage) than with the Tasman back and forth lot who charge you extra for sniffing. First time we flew LAN they were a 5:30am out of Auckland and we drove from HAwkes Bay to get the flight, we're that tight with cash

I pay a bit more for long haul, but why bother for 3hrs?
