Accommodation
Hi all
Can anyone recommend accommodation for my wife , my 3 children and I ? Preferably near the Rodney District north island . We will be looking for somewhere to stay for maximum of 8 weeks( maybe more , hope not ) until we find our perfect area and home . I will be working based in Warkworth
affordable and suitable for family’s ( if possible )

Hi we’re lookimg for r a short term rent before we commit, like a motel or holiday park etc so we can explore the areas before we commit

Sea Vista apartments in Browns Bay - short walk into Browns Bay if you only have one car, buses from there to wherever, handy for the 30min commute up to Warkworth. We stayed there for 3 weeks on arrival (hmm but that was nearly 8 years ago!).

There's Warkworth Lodge you could try. Loads of places to stay if you Google it. Matakana is a lovely village which is 10 mins up the road by car. Has a wee cinema, a good pub, various eateries, shops and a lovely feel to the place. I'd move there if it was practical for the OH's job.

Email or phone TradeMe customer services. They can allow you temporary read-only access so you can get the details of agents/landlords on property rental ads so you can at least communicate with them. It won't allow you to trade (buy or sell). They've done it for potential migrants in the past but you need to specifically request.
