5.5 in Taupo anyone feel it ?
I hid under my desk. The energy of the earthquake took four minutes to travel from Taupo to Feilding where I work. My husband felt it and he's in Wellington today.
Did anyone else drop, cover, hold ? No, thought not.

i always think if the tv and power is on i dont need to panic

I didn't, to busy ironing. but people down the hill a bit felt it and apparently went on for about 30seconds.

I was in a 1 tonne spa and I felt it thru the bottom of the spa in Palmy!!!

My desk wobbled for ages (i work in the tallest building in Wellington CBD). I was on the phone at the time to a colleague in Hamilton but we just carried on talking.

Sis in law who was working in town apparently did, but I was 10km NW of town, sat in the office, and never felt a thing!

I felt it in Tauranga - MY chair shook and our son felt it in Wellington CBD.
