Hello

I'm starting to wonder whether my next job should be as an immigration official as I am now on my 4th country of research!!!! Anyway.... my quickie questions are:

1)

NZ Visa Options for clarification please:

a) Skilled Migrant - points awarded. Skill must be on list = PR if awarded

OR

b) Work to residence - skills not on list - have an offer/sponsor = temp 30 month visa with right to apply for PR after 24 months

Have I got that right....? (taking into account health/character etc of course)


2)

Apparently the (and I quote) 'creative sector is identified as a future growth area' which may lead to bonus points if you have an offer of employment.

Now bearing in mind my hubby's Occupation is on the skills list BUT not in the field they seem to be talking about (film animation or something).... it does say that 'Creatives' are welcome.
It mentions his title of Graphic Designer AND he has a level 6 qualification (well x 2 of them actually) awarding 50 points AND over 10 years relevant/recent experience.

So (if you can understand any of that) does that sound positive?

My quickie turned out to take rather longer than promised so apologies for that!

PS. I take it when you come to allocate your points for qualifications that you just take the highest one and allocate those points????
