3rd day of summer here,111F today,not a cloud in the sky,has cooled off from 114F on Wednesday and Thursday,feels like winter Brrrrrrrrrrrr!

Nice eh? I dried all my washing outside again today... have only used the tumble drier once so far this winter.

Theres a few showers outside at the moment..... we really need loads and loads of rain.... our huge main water tank is empty and the small one is just half full.... wheres the rain??? Its not good if we have to order water in mid winter.

Well it was 18c and raining here in Perth Sunday. You don't get snowfall that often in christchurch, but when it does arrive, it can be heavy! Usually you'll just see it cover the port hills and the start of the alps (if you're at a place you can get a view).

Watch out for icy roads in winter though, esp that black ice when driving (they don't put salt on the roads like they do in the UK).
I found the crisp chch winter mornings okay as it would mean a fine day

Definitely crisp this morning !!

Just been out to the front gate to put the rubbish out & ran back! Gotta peg the washing out before school, hoping it's going to be as good as yesterday, it dried at treat!
