Default Will It Work In The UK?

Hello!

I recently got a Nordic Track exercise bike...now we are thinking of a return to the UK in about a year and I’m wondering if it would even work over there?

Doess anyone know?

Thanks!

Almost certainly does in which case the OP will need to check the power required so they can determine the size of the Step down transformer they will need to operate in the UK. The ones I looked up on the official site in the US all required them to be plugged into a 120v outlet. (ie not dual voltage but I couldn’t see any technical spec details on power requirements in the 36 page user manual on one that I looked at)

Yes, it’s a plug in one!

Follow durham_lad’s train of thought and check to see if it’s multi-voltage.

Yes, I will check but wondered if anyone had any experience of using US electrical equipment successfully in the UK! 🙂

Yes. Transformers step down the voltage but do not change the frequency. (50hz versus 60hz) Frequency matters very little these days.

We brought over our Laz-y-boy recliners from the USA. Changed the plugs to UK plugs and they work perfectly well.
