What Kind of things to ship from Canada to UK

What Kind of things to ship from Canada to UK
Since we are thinking of moving to the UK, what are the kinds of things that people take back, eg.
beds: kids beds, with mattress.
Sofa: we have a 3 peice leather sofa set in good condition
Coffee table: a glass top coffee table
and other micallaneous items, like framed paintings and photos, a cabinet for paper work items.
Is it sensible to pay for shipping on these or just sell at a less price and buy again in UK.
From Toronto to UK does anyone have experiance with shipping these, eg. Cost and reliable company.
