Default Weird question?

Excited about moving back to Cumbria at the end of October and realizing I don’t care enough about any of the furniture in my small home to ship it, so I am giving it all away along with cutlery, crockery etc. However, I do want to send a few paintings and ceramic tiles I have created during my life as a professional artist, this includes the winnowed down contents of a small art studio, brushes, watercolours, palettes and easels….not enough for a 50cu foot crate. I realized that I could send all this stuff, including clothes in 4 or 5 large suitcases and double walled box for a few canvases. Sounds eccentric I know, but has anyone sent suitcases via a company like “Ship my bag”? If you have, what company did you use and were you happy with the outcome. Thanks for your ever-helpful comments!

Yes, we used "ship my bag" last year when we moved back to Scotland—excellent service and well worth it.

When my daughter moved back she shipped some of her musical instruments ahead of her move and used the same approved ToR reference number to avoid paying import taxes. (I’m assuming OP will have to assign a money value to his shipment).
