I just wanted to tell everyone here how excited I am about returning to the UK for my first real vacation since moving to Canada 3 years ago ….. I wonder how I'll see the place after so long and I wonder how its changed over the years considering I left England when I was 20 on what I thought would be a 6 month vacation …. I'm so looking forward to seeing everything old!! And even new ….
that’s one thing I miss about living in the UK, the history etc but after 3 years I've eventually settled here I now consider Canada home.
Wowowo I CAN'T wait to be back!!!

Enjoy.
Enjoy.
Glad to hear you happy in Stockport!!!
Yea Canada isnt what people expect it to be, the first 2 years here weren't easy but things are a whole lot better now! I'm originally from Newcastle upon tyne, but before moving to Canada I lived in Essex for 3 years…..
I'll be flying into Glasgow, then to Newcastle and then to Essex and leaving from London, its just a shame I'm only over for 2 weeks but with flights being so cheap now I might come over more often, the thing with Canada is it just takes time to get established here and people expect it be like your on holiday all the time, you just have to accept the differences and how things work here but really I now believe life is what you make it no matter where you live
I didn’t plan on moving here just happened really
but all that said I wouldn't change the last 3 years for anything

The big thing you will notice is how everything seems so small and crowded, and everyone drives really fast!!
I love going for visits it makes me feel I've never been away. Oh the funniest thing you will notice is that suddenly your not that lady with the accent anymore.
