I thought it would be nice if people could post here, there useful website address's for links to information for people returning/planning to return to the U.K?

Sites that people have found very useful.. Be it governemnt, council, tax, driving etc etc

Any admissions would be greatly appreciated!! :)

Here's another UK site I came across.

It's a UK govt. site with a complete section on Britons returning to live in the UK....with a checklist on whom to notify/register with, education, healthcare, passports, taking pets into the UK, registering to vote (important to do this as the credit rating agencies in the UK eg. Experian, Equifax etc. check the electoral roll to see if you're on it and lenders use this when deciding to allow you any credit - even then they often like you to have been registered on the electoral roll for six months) and importing a car to the UK:

Nope, £15 nowadays :D ! Everything's done online as well, they don't accept paper applications anymore. Where did you end up going?
