Update
Hi all
As I have had so many karma messages and PMs offering support and asking how things are, I thought i would post it here instead of replying to all individually.
OH is now temporarily out of hospital, but has to go back in to have his gallbladder removed in 5 weeks time. He is still pretty sore, but glad to be home. I am also pleased to have him here with me. At least we can both lie in bed and be sick together ..pmsl
I was not coping too well when i first got back. On top of OH being in the hospital, i felt quite frightened being in the house on my own, mainly due to the burglary before i left for UK.
My lungs are starting to clear a bit now, although i am still having to use a mobility scooter at the mall!! ... god it makes me feel like a right old grandma!!
I miss UK and the grandkids soooo much. I am hoping if his op goes ok that we will make it back to UK by the end of January. Fingers crossed!
Until then, I guess its case of suffering Aus TV, pining for blighty once again and reshuffling our plans.
Once again, thanks for all your support it is much appreciated

Good to hear you're both on the mend, Flea. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery and return to Blighty for you both.
BTW - I definately think we should set up a gall bladder support group on here!!!!!

Flea,
Thanks for the update. It's good that you are with each other right. I'm sure your husband is very happy that you are there right now, what a comfort you must be for him. I wish you both a speedy recovery and, just think, January will be here before you know it
Here's to the days just flying by

Could be a business opening somewhere there though flea how about a mobility scooter valet service! Or a mobility service for clients using shopping malls and supermarkets i helped an elderly lady in the supermarket today she wasnt on a mobility scooter but she couldnt read the prices on the shelves and i thought at the time oh i bet that poor dear ends up spending loads more than necessary because she can't see the specials.......Deffinately a need for some compassion for those less fortunate than ourselves aye....

Re: Update
I've been away so I missed when everything went sideways for you, Flea. I hope it all smooths out soon.
But seriously, with the lung problem, should you sit it out in Oz until winter goes in England? You don't want a relapse! And summer to spring to summer sounds just the ticket.
