Hi All,
Has anyone used Upakweship from Alberta to the UK recently? I've found them to be a little 'hit and miss' with emails? we are looking at a 20 ft container and have had a rough quote from them but was wondering if there were any reviews from anyone on the forum, we are also applying for the TOR, what a game that is!
Thanks.

I'm meant to have a shipping container coming on July 30th but there seems to be 5 day breaks in between them actually answering emails. Complete nightmare to deal with currently.

Did everything go according to plan on the 30th? I used them a couple of times in 2015 and everything went like clockwork. But as I'm now officially a ping-ponger and heading back to the UK for another attempt to settle, I'm curious to know if they can still be relied upon.

@deepcpearl So personally I've had a bit of a nightmare with them. It started off okay, then the communication went really sporadic for a month and I couldn't get any replies. Then my account got picked up again and it went really smoothly until the pick up date.
All along the 30th July was the agreed date, between 8-11am in the morning. So we have everything packed up in the lounge ready to go on the 30th, parking permit booked etc (paid for!), no sign of the truck before 11. Wait until 12, try calling and no answer, finally get hold of someone and get some more numbers to try, no answer on any of those. Get to about 3pm and finally get hold of someone, they are going to look into it. Then I get a random email at 4.30pm saying the truck is booked in for the 31st July. At this point I'm fuming and our move is in a total mess as we have another moving truck to Montreal coming and other plans for the 31st including handing the house back to the landlord. Send of a furious email and finally get a response saying they had messed up, really sorry and would deduct the parking permit at the very least from my invoice. Still no phone call back or anything.
Luckily we were able to juggle things around on the 31st and the truck arrived (with a very nice driver who didn't rush us). I'm now waiting on paying my invoice to get this resolved but not heard anyhing back so far. Not sure I can really recommend them at this point but I'm sure other people have had better experiences.
