Unemployment rate in Manchester

Hi not to sure, I can only say that my family (mostly work in or near to Manchester) are still in work...the families trades range from I.T Management to Plastering, Bricklayers, Electricians etc, Secretarial, Hairdressing and Airlines and Teaching....(large families..lol) so far we have not known any of our friends to be out of work either...so once again I suppose it is down to your line of work, who you know etc.....

Unemployment in the UK has risen in the last year.
I seen much more unemployment in areas I lived in Canada than I have seen in the UK.
