Too true! I find it difficult to understand how people can say they are living in the best place possible yet spend endless amounts of time in forums. I'll probably get hounded on here for saying that if you are totally 100% fulfilled then why sit behind the screen of a computer posting stuff that's really not important to people you don't even know. I personally feel it's a valid point...
Must admit I do think that screen time can get addictive.
But what else can you do when it gets dark at 3 p.m.?

It feels like 3 p.m. since the clocks went back, and it does get dark about an hour earlier up here. Won't be long before it is 3 p.m. Leave home in the dark, arrive home in the dark, from now until March

Can you get Serrano ham where you are? We have to make do with US bacon and I buy Serrano ham to fill breakfast toasted sandwiches but bung it in the pan (ask for a thicker cut from the deli) on its own from time to time, just very briefly, for a change, and it works out well as a "real back bacon" alternative. Worth a try!
