Just checked my parent's house they sold for 250,000 in, like, 1990.
Went for 1.5 million two years ago.
Wowsers.
My parent's current house is worth 250,000 euros.
So they haven't made any progress! Except it's much nicer.

That's interesting. I sold mine in Barnet in 1994 for 98,000 it resold in 2001 for 265,000, I think the owners extended into the loft though. And they got divorced.
I couldn't find my exact flat in Islington which I sold in 1989 but the one next door, which belonged to the singer out of 'The Alarm', looks to have sold his in 2000 for 140,000.
