Default Uk driving licence

Hi again guys, another question lol.

My wife failed here driving test in the UK 3 times before we moved to Australia and since being here passed on the first time of asking lol (Does this say something about standards here )

Anyway...Will she be able to swap her full open Australian licence for a pommy one without sitting the test or is she in for a shock?

No, all required is that she fills out the forms (from the post office or download from the internet DLVC) send in her Australian driving licence and a fee and in about 2 weeks will have her new UK plastic id driving licence in the mail. good luck...we had to do this for our son who only had his Aussie licence...

Yes,I have to re-take so does DH who has ben driving since '77 lol!

Wonder who will pass first ?

I think the UK driving test is beyond crazy ...real driving happens on your own over time

That is one thing I really like about America -straight forward driving tests -and *if * you fail the chance to take it almost straight away !
