UK Credit History
I still haven't got my finger out regarding obtaining my credit report.... I will soon
Was just reading another thread about someone being out of the UK for 8 years and no longer having any credit history.
Is there a certain number of years that pass and then you have no history?
I have active bank accounts but nothing else... no uk credit cards in use or loans etc..... I know it will all make sense to me when I get my report but was curious.

I had to send off letters from my old address in UK to prove i lived there, which was a pain in the hole as i haven't lived there for 3 years. Anyway one report came back and credit list was all there (all good may i add) and i was told because i left my bank acc open in UK, i shouldn't have problems with credit...did you leave your UK bank acc open?

Yes I do have 2 current accounts, both active - money in and out. I'm glad your report is all good. I'm pretty sure I will have one naughty mark but need to see the report to know what impact that has had.
Do the credit scores work the same in the UK as they do in the USA? i.e. up to 619 is fair etc...
