Default UK Bankruptcy... the saga continues

I have been advised ( and recieved helpful advice on here too thank you ) that before i claim the bankruptcy in the UK to remove my name from my wifes and i's joint bank account. This is to protect my wife from the UK reviever suspending the US bank account. Anyone know if this will be destructive to the immigration process, i.e. will the INS get upset over no joint bank account. i will be retaining my name on the lease agreement and the other household bills etc.
