Default Tufty Bits

Can someone please put my mind at rest and confirm that blokes back in UK are NOT sporting these stupid little tufty bits of bristle under their bottom lips?

Geez. They seem to be everywhere, usually sported by our meditterenian adonis wannabes down here. First i ask myself WHY, then i laugh at how silly they look.

Flea, I can confirm I have not witnessed 'tufty bits' here in the UK - I do however understand your concern as I did see a character on 'Neighbours' sporting the aforementioned 'tufty bit' a while back and have to say it did look quite disturbing!!

A 50 year old + guy walked into the office with one of these things, at first I thought he had missed a bit shaving.

I agree. Pretty stupid looking, regardless of the *purpose.*

I think we're seeing less of them here . . . . though the were all the rage for a while.

I'm glad someone else thinks they are stupid. What are they all about anyway? It makes guys look like they can't make up their mind whether to have a beard or not so are just trying a little bit at a time.
