Transferwise from Canada to UK through RBC
Has anyone had any luck transferring money from the Royal Bank of Canada to the UK through Transferwise?
I was able to do smaller amounts ($8,000 cdn), but nothing over $10,000.
I can't add Transferwise as a payee on the RBC website. And RBC was no help when I contacted them. Can't even transfer the regular RBC bank way because the UK bank info isn't complete (the swift code for my bank in Scotland comes up with 7 banks in London and a search by city shows 30 banks without addresses so I can't see which one to pick).
If anyone has done this successfully, I'd love to hear how. Thanks in advance!

Alternatively, has any used Transferwise with Tangerine for a large amount (+$100,000)?
I have a savings account, but think I'd need a chequing to use Transferwise.

You do a transfer into the Transferwise borderless account in CDN then transfer it into pounds then the funds can be transfered to a UK bank account as a bank transfer. The Transferwise limit is $1million.

Thanks, Benson. I was hoping to not open yet another account, but that seems to be the only way.
