Transfering qualifications

Transfering qualifications
I have a plumbing buisness in France and even though I'm doing quite well, the idea of returning to the UK really appeals.
I'm wanting to find a job over there for a while before reopening a business of my own.
However, I did my training in France and I have French qualifications, of which the UK equilalent would be NVQ 3, but which I doubt would be accepted
. What I was wanting to do, if possible, was to have my qualifications transfered or skills assesed??
Has anybody got any ideas as to how this can be done??
