Default TOR Questions

We're moving from Canada to the UK in September with just a few suitcases and our pets (cat and dog). In 6-8 months we'll ship over the rest of our possessions.

Should I complete the TOR twice: for the pets and again for the later shipment?
Or wait and do it for the shipment? (Pay the pet fees when we arrive and ask for credit on the TOR.)

Thank you in advance for any guidance you can provide.

We're in a similar situation as we are having a haulier move our possessions but our dog will be coming with us on the plane.

The haulier said we should get 2 Tors - one for them and one for the dog - as they will be entering the UK on separate dates.

One of the companies we were looking at to ship our possessions back said the same - they are wrong. I double checked this with HMRC who said, and I quote, “The URN issued is for your goods and your animals. The URN can be used multiple times within a 12 month period.
